Painting in cold weather can be a challenge! 🥶 A paint film dried in the cold can have poor durability, or even crack - this is because the acrylic base needs some warmth to make the particles soft enough to stick together.

We have different solutions to help your paint dry effectively in cooler temperatures - ask us about them! 😃

Our trade regular Jurgen recently repainted a classic 1882 cottage for a private client, and sent us some pictures of the incredible result!

Weatherboards are Resene Merino, doors and sills Pursuit, frames and detailing Clementine Orange, and the sashes and iron lace are in Cut Glass.

We love seeing what you guys get up to with our products - if you have any before and after photos of projects, please send them in! 😄

Our community and giving back are important to us here at Mainland - recently we participated in Resene's Hunger for Colour promotion.

This promotion allows customers to pay for their testpot with a can of food for the Salvation Army. Thank you guys - what a result for an awesome cause! 🙏
