Dean believes that you can be both a successful business leader and live a stress- free lifestyle, becoming time rich and having your cake and eating it too. Dean is fastidious when it comes to attention to detail and helps his clients achieve a better work-life balance by focusing them on building better business systems, gaining the confidence and competence to grow, as well as developing and maximising profits. Dean knows from experience that by improving levels of service, businesses can do better at the same time as benefiting their clients. Prior to starting his coaching practise in 2020, Dean has successfully run multiple 6- figure business ventures. Starting in 1993 at 22 years old, when he published one of New Zealand’s first men’s fashion magazines. In 2002 he provided professional photographic services and staff training on 15 different cruise ships, where he increased revenue by 40% while managing the operation worldwide. He has been the founding director of several start-ups including a profitable professional photography studio in 2006, a relocatable building and hire service company in 2013 and a house inspection company that utilized robotic inspection technology in 2018. Dean has authored his first book an autobiography called The Lucky Grasshopper, has developed a franchise business model, invested in property and the stock market as a personal wealth strategy and recently paid off his home mortgage at the age of 52. Academically, Dean has qualifications in a number of industries, including: Building, Photographic, Sales & Marketing, Hospitality, Project Management, Business, Growth & Development. And with his 30+ years of unique business ownership experience, he can truly provide a myriad of knowledge and expertise. Dean grew up in New Zealand and with both parents being self-employed it’s no wonder business and entrepreneurship runs deep in his DNA. He has raised his beautiful daughter Grace with his wife of 12 years, Sarah. Dean is active and fit and has played many competitive sports. He has an insatiable passion for travel and adventure visiting over 80 countries to date, his happy place is paddleboarding down the Avon River in deep meditation. Dean values forming long-lasting mutually beneficial relationships and is happiest when helping others to realize their true potential so they can achieve outstanding results.
