A fantastic few days at Te Whakarōpūtanga Kaitiaki Kura o Aotearoa - New Zealand School Boards Association (NZSBA) conference connecting with education leaders, board members, and principals from across the sector.

We were proud to see Melisa and Erin sharing insights on investigations and complaints, while Rosie and Sally led an engaging discussion on Recruitment Best Practice and Due Diligence in recruitment.

Our marketplace stand also gave us the opportunity to meet and learn from many inspiring board members and principals, and to continue important conversations about supporting safe, effective governance and leadership.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to connect with us.

Also shout out to our winners! 🎉
Guess the jellybean winner - Kale Pompey from Centenial Park School
Spot prize winner Cilla Sausen from Auckland Girls' Grammer.

Every leader has blind spots. That's why they're called blind spots.

The question isn't whether you have them.

The question is how you'll discover them:

- Through honest feedback

- Through deliberate reflection

- Or through the consequences they create

The reality is that our intentions and our impact aren't always the same. The behaviours we overlook can influence team performance, trust, engagement, and our overall effectiveness as leaders.

The most successful leaders aren't those without blind spots, they're the ones willing to seek out perspectives beyond their own and act on what they learn.

A 360 survey provides a powerful mirror, offering insight into how others experience your leadership and highlighting opportunities for growth before they become barriers to success.

Some of our team at Aspire 2026, exploring "What We Know to Be True" in a world of constant change. An insightful day focused on cutting through uncertainty and understanding the trends shaping the future of business, from AI and global trade to opportunities closer to home.

Great to see the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce host events like these that are designed to provide clarity, insight, and practical thinking - helping businesses cut through the noise and focus on what truly matters for the future.
