Love colour, pattern and painting? Come play with glass, colour and millefiori in this fun 3-hour Monday morning taster class with Sarah Brock.

Create tiny artworks using vibrant glass enamels and millefiori, those gorgeous little glass pieces with intricate patterns hidden inside. Choose your palette, build your designs, then fire them in our kilns and watch the glass transform into bright, glossy little masterpieces. 🔥

No jewellery experience needed. Just bring your love of colour and a willingness to get a little experimental.

If you’ve been meaning to explore the Kāpiti Coast Art Trail, consider this your sign to book the weekend in your calendar now 👀✨

We’ll be opening the doors of Workspace Studios Ōtaki, where you can meet our resident artists, watch makers at work, browse handmade pieces and get a peek inside our creative hub.

✨ Vaune Mason works across metalwork, carving, fibre and natural materials, creating pieces inspired by Aotearoa’s native wildlife and environment.

✨ Sarah Brock is a multimedia artist working across painting, drawing, lampwork glass, ceramics and jewellery, with more than 20 years of experience sharing her skills with students.

✨ Bill Shortis creates distinctive metal jewellery full of texture, movement and detail, exploring materials including titanium, bronze, copper and silver.

We’re thrilled to be part of the 2026 Kāpiti Coast Art Trail! 🎨

Our Ōtaki studio will be opening its doors alongside an incredible collection of artists, makers and creative spaces across the Coast.

Think jewellery, ceramics, glass, painting, demonstrations, handmade treasures and plenty of creative inspiration. 👀
