Three years ago Positive Electrical was just a few guys and a van.

Today we’re completing electrical and lighting installations at Whangarei Hospital — including the Transit Lounge and helicopter pad 🚁 at the Whangarei Hospital.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come. But what drives us is simple — show up, do the job right, and look after the people of Northland.

If your switchboard looks like it hasn’t been touched since the 80s — read this. ⚡

Old switchboards are one of the biggest fire risks in NZ homes. Most people have no idea theirs is out of date until something goes wrong.

Here’s what to look for:

🔴 Ceramic fuses instead of circuit breakers
🔴 No RCD safety switches
🔴 Burn marks or a burning smell
🔴 Breakers that keep tripping
