Ea is the new name for the service that began its journey as the Employee Advisory and Resolutions Service at AUT.
Ea, in Te Reo Maori, means to surface as an issue. To bring it to the light and resolve this. It celebrates the Tapu [sacredness] and Utu [acknowledgement and consequence] that is ascribed to the users of the service.
