🎬 AWAYU| We are proud to celebrate the selection of AWAYU, a short documentary by filmmaker Oscar Zemarti (Oscar Zemarti) at the International Documentary Film Festival of World Traditions in Asturias, Spain.

Set in the Bolivian highlands, AWAYU follows women who preserve ancestral knowledge through weaving. Each textile carries stories of the land, its biodiversity, cultural identity and traditions passed down through generations.

We believe in the power of artists and the creative industries to shape how we understand the world. This is why we invest our time, expertise and networks in supporting independent filmmakers, nurturing creative talent and connecting meaningful productions with new audiences and opportunities.

Documentary cinema has a unique ability to preserve cultural memory, bring different perspectives to the screen and create connections across borders. We are excited to see AWAYU continue its journey internationally.

I feel lucky to be able to spend a good amount of time on personal projects and meeting new people. I work as a freelancer in the fields of digital marketing, photography, and I also own a clothing brand named . Since 2014 I founded the digital community which already has 8,300+ active members and which has played a very important role for migrant Latina women in Germany.
