Prioritising Health & Wellness Through Cancer Awareness
At Theodist, we believe that good health is one of life's greatest assets. Creating a culture of health and wellness starts with education, empowering individuals with knowledge that can help protect themselves and their loved ones.
As part of our commitment to employee wellness, we were privileged to welcome the Papua New Guinea Cancer Foundation (PNGCF) for a Cancer Awareness and Education Session with our team. We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Tracy Kabwa, Volunteer Health Educator, for leading the awareness session and sharing her expertise on cancer prevention, risk factors, early warning signs, and the importance of regular health screenings and early detection.
Cancer affects thousands of individuals and families every year, but awareness remains one of the most powerful tools in reducing its impact. Through education and regular health checks, many forms of cancer can be detected early, significantly improving treatment outcomes and saving lives.
At Theodist, we encourage our employees, customers, and the wider community to make their health a priority through regular screenings, healthy lifestyle choices, and open conversations about cancer awareness. Together, we can help break the stigma, promote early detection, and support those affected by cancer.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Papua New Guinea Cancer Foundation for their dedication to educating communities and advancing cancer awareness throughout Papua New Guinea.
Because when it comes to cancer, awareness is more than knowledge, it can save lives.
Prevention is better than cure.
