AmCham Philippines, through its Human Capital and Resources Committee and Education Committee, successfully convened the Annual Talent Summit entitled “Shifts in Talent Development Amidst Global Disruption.”

The Summit gathered leaders from government, academe, and industry to discuss the evolving demands of the workplace and the urgent need to future-proof the Filipino workforce amid technological, geopolitical, economic, and demographic shifts. Through insightful panel discussions, speakers highlighted the growing importance of skills-based development, lifelong learning, and cross-sector collaboration in building a globally competitive talent ecosystem.

The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AmCham) recently organized a successful executive briefing, "Smart Growth: Using AI to Multiply Your Team's Potential," in partnership with Pulsifi. For this session, the Pulsifi leadership team flew into Manila from Singapore and Malaysia specifically to share their insights and expertise with the AmCham business community.

The event featured Pulsifi's leadership team, who addressed the evolving role of artificial intelligence in maximizing workforce capability. AmCham Executive Director Ebb Hinchliffe opened the session with warm welcome remarks.

Following the introduction, Senior Advisor Joe Nguyen lent his strategic expertise to the conversation, discussing the practical integration of AI tools within modern organizational frameworks, while Account Director for the Philippines, Jaime Calero, guided the dialogue as the event moderator. Pulsifi CEO Jay Huang then presented a comprehensive look at the company's products and services, showcasing how data-driven AI solutions can uncover hidden human potential and optimize team structures.

In partnership with Cargill, the AmCham Agribusiness Committee convened Building a Competitive Philippine Livestock Sector: The Animal Industry Development and Competitiveness Act on 18 May 2026 at the AmCham RS Hall in Makati City, bringing together government and industry stakeholders to discuss the implementation of RA 12308 and its impact on the livestock and meat sector. We were honored to engage with representatives from the Department of Agriculture (DA), and the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS), alongside private sector partners.
