Today, on World Photography Day, we’re looking back at a pairing we’ve always believed in: coffee and art. More specifically, coffee and photography. ☕️📷
For almost two years, we had the chance to share a creative hub with our talented friend and photographer Dan Comaniciu Photographer. Through that proximity, we discovered the fascinating world of wet-plate collodion, one of photography’s earliest techniques and witnessed the patience, chemistry and craftsmanship behind every image created on glass.
Naturally, it wasn’t long before our two worlds began to overlap. 😍
During that time, we created workshops where coffee met collodion photography: we brewed, tasted and talked about coffee, Dan introducing our guests to this beautiful historic process. Also, exactly two years ago today, we celebrated World Photography Day at Brasov Art Museum , preparing Syphon coffee inside a room transformed into a camera obscura, while Bulevardul Eroilor appeared live accross the museum walls.
Looking back, these moments confirmed something we had always felt: coffee can become a beautiful meeting point, creating the pause, curiosity and human connection through which art can be experienced differently. 🤍
Coffee, photography, art, chemistry, light - different elements, but every time we brought them together, a little magic followed.
Today, we celebrate photography and the people who still take the time to truly look.🤍
Happy !📷
