Some side projects have a life of their own.

16 editions. Countless conversations. Hundreds of new connections. And a Nordic meeting place for the language and localisation industry since 2011.

What started as a shared idea between Cecilia Enbäck and me has become an annual highlight in our calendars.

Nordic Translation & Interpretation Forum is still our ‘side project’. One that we put our hearts into, year after year.

Why? Because we believe in bringing people together. In meaningful conversations, fresh perspectives and the magic that happens when people connect.

And in just three weeks, we’re doing it all again!

The warm, lazy vacation days are almost over. Now it’s time to turn all those creative ideas you gathered over the summer into a proposal for the hashtag programme.

This year's theme: 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦. 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗. 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗭𝗘.

Why these three?
Because our industry has reached an interesting point. We’ve talked a lot about transformation, AI and experimentation. Now it’s time to talk about what happens when ideas meet reality.

What have you learned? What have you built? What actually worked? What didn’t?

And perhaps most importantly: how are you turning change into real value for customers and sustainable business?
