๐ธ๐ฌ Singapore is planning to increase its Permanent Resident (PR) intake to about 40,000 a year over the next five years as part of its long-term population strategy.
The move aims to support workforce renewal, address ageing demographics, and sustain economic and social development โ while still keeping a strong and stable citizen core.
The Government also expects to grant 25,000โ30,000 new citizenships annually, strengthening population growth through carefully managed immigration.
