𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙍𝙄𝘽𝘽𝙊𝙉 𝘼𝙐𝙉𝙏𝙔 in China 🇨🇳

I realised that I’ve been doing this for close to 20 years — from ribbon ah moi to ribbon aunty 🤣 Yet, I hardly took photos or videos of the journey. Not that everything needs to be on social media… but truthfully, that’s how businesses communicate these days.

This trip, I brought my nephew along to observe what we do for a living. Every time we came across a new product or a different way of doing things, I found myself saying,
“Ah Gong would definitely have liked this.” or “Ah Gong would probably say this…”

And while that makes me miss him terribly, this trip also lifted me out of some of the doom and gloom surrounding the retail & wholesale scene back home. Oddly enough, it reminded me to stay tenacious, resilient and gutsy — just like how my Dad and uncles were when they ran the show.
