Qing Ming Festival is a time for families to honour and remember their departed loved ones. During this period, all government-managed cemetery and columbaria will stay open 24 hours a day from 21 Mar to 19 Apr.
Large crowds are expected on 11 peak days:
- Mar: 21 (Hari Raya Puasa), 22, 28, 29
- Apr: 3 (Good Friday), 4, 5 (Qing Ming), 11, 12, 18, 19
To help ensure a peaceful experience for everyone, we encourage visiting outside the peak days where possible. Out of respect for families who have applied for the scattering of ashes, the Garden of Peace and Garden of Serenity will be closed to other visitors on the 11 peak days.
Please use the designated burning drums and areas for burning joss paper to keep our premises safe and clean for all visitors.
