✈️ Project Inspire, Mentor, Discover and Develop (IMDD)

On 11 August 2026, SAAA@Singapore hosted the third training session for our Project IMDD interns, bringing together 14 students from various Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) and universities, including Temasek Polytechnic, ITE College East and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).

The students enjoyed a day of valuable industry learning and exposure:

📊 Morning Session – Revenue Management
A sharing session conducted by Air France-KLM, who provided the students with insights into airline pricing structures, revenue management, and how airlines optimise revenue through strategic pricing.

📦 Afternoon Session – Cool Chain Facility Tour
dnata Singapore led an engaging tour of the cool chain facility, giving students a closer look at the logistics flow of goods, particularly pharmaceutical products and dangerous goods (DG), and the importance of maintaining proper handling throughout the supply chain.

We are grateful to our industry partners and members for sharing their expertise and giving our youths the opportunity to gain meaningful exposure to the aviation and air cargo industry.

🌟 We strongly encourage more of our member companies to come on board Project IMDD and play a part in mentoring, inspiring and developing the next generation of aviation and logistics professionals.

Together, let’s expand the horizons of our youths! ✈️🌏
