Another remarkable exhibition at the Hargeysa Cultural Centre Gallery, presented as part of the Hargeysa International Book Fair, is “Memory and Reimagining of the Berbera Business Fair (1700s–1800s)”, executed by Nasra Dahir, a PhD candidate at the University of Gulf Studies University Global Studies University (GSU)

Through historical research and creative interpretation, the exhibition revisits Berbera’s rich commercial and cultural legacy, inviting audiences to reimagine one of the Horn of Africa’s most significant trading hubs and reflect on the importance of preserving and reclaiming our shared history Nasra Daahir Raage Hamdi A.
