Safe food starts with informed teams and good practices.

Our chefs at AVS Catering took part in training on food hygiene, sanitation and chemical safety to strengthen their knowledge and awareness of food safety.

The training covered personal hygiene, preventing cross-contamination, proper food preparation and storage, and the cleaning and disinfection of equipment and workspaces. We aimed to help our chefs apply this knowledge in their daily food production routines and maintain consistent hygiene practices.

By investing in our chefs’ professional development, we reinforce the care and sense of responsibility behind every meal we serve.

Thank you to our trainers for their contributions and to all our chefs for their participation and commitment to professional growth.

Keeping our Halloween tradition alive at AVS Global. 🎃👻

This year, we came together once again in the event space at our headquarters in Istanbul to celebrate Halloween. With creative costumes, festive treats and plenty of laughter, we enjoyed a fun-filled time with our colleagues.

Celebrations like these have become a tradition we look forward to — a chance to step away from our daily routines, spend time together and add new memories to the ones we’ve shared over the years. 🧡

Thank you to everyone who brought their energy and Halloween spirit to this year’s celebration.

We were pleased to meet with Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik, in Islamabad to explore investment opportunities in the country’s upstream oil and gas sector.

Our Chairman, Abdulvahit Şimşek, and our Business Development Director, Sue Serpil Akşehir, attended the meeting, where we expressed our commitment to supporting Pakistan’s energy sector and discussed opportunities for future cooperation.

Drawing on our international experience in oil and gas services, we are keen to understand local priorities and explore how our capabilities can contribute to the sector’s development.

We’re heading to MTB Events 'Meet The Buyer' Marine Europe in Istanbul to connect with maritime buyers and discuss how we can better support vessels and crews worldwide. ⚓

With our Catering Manager, Sevda Bölükbaş Güler, and our Country Manager Greece, Vicky Stamati, representing us, we’ll bring our experience in ship supply and catering management to the event’s one-to-one meetings and networking programme.

We look forward to discussing the challenges our customers face every day—from coordinating deliveries around changing vessel schedules to sourcing quality provisions and meeting the dietary and cultural preferences of crews.

We’ll share how we approach these needs through our global supply network and catering services, while listening to buyers’ priorities and exploring where we can make a practical difference to their operations.

We’re also looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, building new relationships, and discussing opportunities to work together.

Happy World Maritime Day! 🌊⚓

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has selected “From Policy to Practice: Powering Maritime Excellence” as the World Maritime Day theme for 2026–2027—a call to turn shared commitments into meaningful action across the maritime industry.

At AVS Global Supply, we believe maritime excellence takes shape in everyday operations: supporting vessels and crews, delivering reliable service, and keeping safety at the heart of our work.

Today, we celebrate the seafarers, port teams, and maritime professionals who put these principles into practice and keep global trade moving.

A new season, a new chapter for Galatasaray Basket SK MCT Technic — and another special moment for our partnership.

As the official back-of-shorts sponsor of the Galatasaray MCT Technic Men’s Basketball Team, we had the pleasure of taking part in the team’s new season launch and official photo shoot.

Being present on such an important day gave us the opportunity to see our partnership represented in a very tangible way, with the AVS Global brand taking its place alongside one of Türkiye’s most established sports institutions.

For us, this sponsorship is not simply about brand visibility. It reflects values we strongly identify with: teamwork, discipline, ambition, consistency, and the determination to perform at the highest level.

We are pleased to share a few moments from the new season launch and wish the entire Galatasaray MCT Technic team a successful season ahead.

We stand with Galatasaray. 💛❤️
