Respiratory season is around the corner.

And with it comes one of the biggest challenges in care:

Knowing when antibiotics are needed — and when they’re not.
Better diagnostics = better decisions.

We’re focused on equipping clinicians with tools that support responsible treatment and improved patient outcomes.

If this is your world, you’ll want to be part of this conversation.

Meet Team Sunflower.
A team with range. Some are thriving. Some have… completed their journey. This is not a metaphor.

One plant is absolutely sending it — tall, confident, main‑character energy. The rest are giving “learning experience.” We started with a team, and now we have one breakout star supported by several honorable mentions.

A moment of silence for the fallen. They tried. Nature had notes.

At this point, it’s less “Team Sunflower” and more “Sunflower & Associates.” Natural selection, but make it corporate.

Prostate cancer is often silent. Awareness shouldn’t be.
Reliable screening helps catch risks sooner.

At PHASE we support clinicians with point of care tools that bring clarity fast. Better workflows, stronger reads, confident decisions.

Screening matters. PSA testing is one path, and regular check-ins help keep patients engaged in their long‑term health. Preventative care is strongest when clinicians and patients stay proactive together.

This month is about education and action. Talk about screening. Encourage check ins. Share what you know. Progress starts with paying attention.

Antimicrobial resistance doesn’t stay put. It moves across borders through people, animals, food and goods, and travel increases the chances for resistant bacteria and fungi to spread.

Smart habits help lower that risk. Wash your hands, stay current on recommended vaccines and handle food safely. These simple steps protect you and the people you’re traveling with.

Three smart travel tips to keep AMR risk low:

Pack a small care kit so you can handle minor issues on your own — the CDC’s Travel Health Kit offers helpful guidance on what to include.

Save reputable clinic info before you go.

Use safe water sources to lower infection risk.

Travel smart and support AMR prevention wherever you go.

Respiratory season is approaching, putting pressure on clinics to manage higher patient volume and make timely care decisions. This creates a near-term opportunity for distribution partners to support customer conversations around faster respiratory assessment at the point of care.

The PHASE team will attend the MTMC Showcase in Richmond, Virginia, on August 27 to support distribution partners ahead of peak seasonal demand. The team will highlight FebriDx®, a rapid point-of-care test that helps differentiate bacterial from non-bacterial acute respiratory infections after 10 minutes, supporting more informed treatment decisions and antibiotic stewardship efforts.

If you are attending, connect with Rebecca and Jessica to discuss how FebriDx® can support respiratory-season account planning and help identify customers where expanded diagnostic testing may be a fit.

We look forward to connecting in Richmond.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a growing challenge that affects human, animal and environmental health.

AMR develops when microorganisms no longer respond to the medicines designed to treat them. Misuse and overuse of antibiotics in healthcare, agriculture and communities contribute to this process, making some infections harder to manage.

Addressing AMR requires steady, coordinated action: responsible antibiotic use, strong infection prevention, better surveillance, ongoing research and a One Health approach that connects human, animal and environmental health.

By using antibiotics wisely today, we help preserve their effectiveness for the future.
