You don’t need a gym full of equipment to help your body move better!
Simple movements can help support mobility, circulation, grip strength, shoulder stability, and overall flexibility and a lot of them can be modified using things you already have at home.
Dead hang or door-frame stretch: can help open up the shoulders and give your back a gentle stretch.
Hip + side-body stretch: can be done on the floor or standing against a wall if getting down is difficult.
Step-over exercise: use a low object like cans, a stool, or anything around shin-to-waist height to work on hip movement and control.
Start small: use a lower object first, then gradually increase the height as the movement feels easier.
You can adapt movement to your body and your environment. You do not need fancy equipment to start working on mobility and circulation.
Save this for the next time you feel stiff or want a simple movement routine you can do at home!
