That's a wrap on beef month!

What a month it has been getting to partner with Mo Beef Kids and bring that experience to schools in McDonald County was the perfect way to celebrate.

Teaching the next generation where their food comes from and why it matters? That's what this is all about. We couldn't be prouder to be part of this community and this mission.

Thank you to everyone who followed along, cheered us on, and showed love all month long — y'all made it special. Until next beef month! 🙌

Meet Kasey O'Brien, our Business Development Manager at The 808 Ranch! 🤠

Kasey is born and raised locally — her family has deep roots near the ranch, and her husband's family once owned Elk O Zar, a heritage property just down the road. The land isn't new to her.

A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Kasey has spent her career taking concepts from strategy to ex*****on, with a particular love for connecting people and telling stories that matter. When she came across The 808, the decision was easy. She saw a team operating at a high standard with a culture of warmth and family — and she wanted in.

Now she's doing exactly that, working across everything from big picture vision to day-to-day ex*****on. Outside the ranch, you'll find her in the middle of a home design project or planning her next adventure. Glad to have you on the team, Kasey!

National Beef Month is coming to an end — and we can't think of a better time to talk about what it really means to support the beef industry. 🥩

At The 808 Ranch, that looks like raising cattle with purpose, caring for the land we've been entrusted with, and investing in the next generation through 4H, FFA, and feeding kids in our local schools.

Supporting beef isn't just about what's on your plate. It's about showing up for the ag communities that keep America fed. That's how we do it at The 808! How will you?

We're partnering with the University of Arkansas Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food & Life Sciences to offer a hands-on, two-week intensive Animal Science Internship this summer (July 27 – August 7, 2026)!

Get real-world experience at our technologically innovative, retail-focused purebred Black Angus operation on the Elk River in Anderson, MO.

💰 $16/hr | 🏠 Housing provided | 📚 2 college credits

Activities include herd management, calving operations, precision genetics, forage production, and more.

Apologies to the Pea Ridge community for backing up traffic this morning on Hwy 72 heading to Bentonville. Our third party truck driver hauling steers this morning got stuck as they tried to leave The 808 at the Ridge. Big thank you to our neighbor Arco Excavation & Paving for helping us!

We are working on a new entry as you will notice a gap in the new black fence along the road. Thanks for your patience this morning.

The 808 is "beefing" up school lunches this week!

We are so proud to partner with Mo Beef Kids to help teach kids the importance of fueling their bodies with good food and where it comes from!

A big thank you to Southwest City Elementary. We had a blast!
