The 808 Ranch is honored to help launch the fundraising campaign of the Tiff City Fire Department for the Rescue Airboat that is specifically designed and setup for Search, Rescue and Recovery!

Did you know that the Tiff City Fire Department has three stations that are all manned by volunteers from the community and covers two counties in two different states (fire districts in both McDonald County in Missouri and in Delaware County in Oklahoma) including multiple bodies of water?

Two of those bodies of water are the Elk River and Buffalo Creek that flow across state lines before entering the Grand Lake O' the Cherokees. Gravel bars, shifting water levels, and unpredictable access make search and rescue on these waters incredibly difficult.

That's where the Tiff City Fire Dept Rescue Airboat comes in. Among its many features, the highlight is the reinforced polymer hull that can cross pavement, land, ice, and gravel, all the terrain that could stop or delay emergency personnel reaching situations on the water.

Congratulations to the 2026 Show Me Shootout Supreme Top 5! 🏆

Supreme and Reserve both came from the Angus ring this year serving as a testament to the depth of quality these kids brought to the fair.

We were proud to be a sponsor for the Show Me Shoot Out Supreme Heifer class and hand out the Supreme Champion, Reserve, Top 5 and MO Born & Bred buckles this year, and even prouder of what's coming next. In 2027, Missouri State Fair is adding a P&G (Phenotype and Genotype) class, plus a new Supreme Genomics Heifer award.

Why? Because we believe judging the actual animal is a skill worth protecting, and pairing it with the data these kids will use for the rest of their careers only makes them sharper. This next generation is the future of the beef industry, and we're all in on backing them.

Ever wonder where "The 808 Ranch" name comes from?

The property address is 808 Langley Road. But the name really came together when Lamar & Shari's youngest daughter pointed out that 808 is also Hawaii's area code.

Most people picture paradise as a beach on a faraway island. Ours looks a little different — black cows on green grass, fresh water, and a sunset earned after a hard day's work.

This is our slice of paradise. Welcome to The 808 Ranch. 🌅
