"Hire slow, fire fast" is being misread by almost every business owner I work with.

They hear patience.

What it actually means: hire on attitude, train the skill, and when someone isn't a fit, let them go quickly so they can find where they belong.

Keeping the wrong person out of guilt hurts them and your business.
