One thing I keep seeing is people with solid experience still aren’t getting the response they expected.

Sometimes the experience isn’t the problem. It’s how it’s being presented.

That’s a big part of what I help with. Pulling out the skills that matter, strengthening the wording, and making sure the résumé actually shows what someone brings to the table.

Have you ever put your résumé into an ATS checker and immediately panicked over the score? 😂

A score of 70 does NOT automatically mean your résumé is getting rejected by employers.

ATS checkers can actually be really helpful when you compare your résumé to a specific job description, but the number they give you isn’t some universal score that every employer sees.

Interviews don’t end the second you leave the room or log off the call.

There are still a few things you can do afterward that can help, whether it’s sending a thank-you, writing down what stood out, or fixing an answer you know you could have handled better.

And one of the biggest ones: don’t stop your entire job search while you wait to hear back from one company.

Also, give yourself some grace. Interviews can be stressful, and you do not have to replay every answer 47 times afterward. Take what you learned, make a note of anything you want to improve, and keep moving. 🩷

Know your experience, have a few real examples ready, and remember they are not only interviewing you. You are also deciding if the job and company feel right for you.
