🚨 Myth vs. Fact: You DON'T Have to Open a School to Train Healthcare Professionals.
One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is:
"I want to start a healthcare training program, so I need to open a school."
Not necessarily.
Many organizations qualify to become a Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) sponsor without operating as a private postsecondary school. You can own a school or not!
Registered Apprenticeship Programs are a separate approval pathway that allows employers and organizations to develop a structured, "earn while you learn" training model that combines paid on-the-job training with classroom instruction. They are separate from Postsecondary Schools.
Depending on your goals, an apprenticeship program may be a better fit than opening a traditional school.
