12 weeks of practice, focus, and grind. And when they stepped on that stage, you felt every single one of them.

Confident. Ready. Demanding attention in the best way. If they were nervous, you couldn’t tell. They did what they needed to do to get there, and it showed.

This cohort didn’t just show up, they showed us the way.

Real problems. Real solutions. And a room full of people who made it possible: family who listened to them vent about concepts they’d never heard of, advisors, mentors, people who believed in the idea, and people who just believed in the founder.

To every founder in this cohort, we meant it when we said we can’t wait to see what you do next. The village is still here.

It is an honor to celebrate you. Village fam, please join us in congratulating this cohort of world-changers. 🌍

Thank you to our sponsors Bank of America and Visible Hands for making this possible.

To celebrate Cohort 17, we’re bringing in the people who built the ecosystems, wrote the checks, and changed the rules for a real conversation about who gets to build, who gets backed, and what it actually takes to change that.

Alan has scaled startups and Fortune 50 companies, built the Founder Mental Health Pledge into a movement adopted by over 15 VC firms, and now runs ITV as Managing Director. He’s asking the questions.

David co-founded ATV over a decade ago and built more than a co-working space. He built an ecosystem where startups have raised over $3 billion in capital. He’s written the checks, built the rooms, and stayed in the game long enough to see what really moves the needle.

Justin co-founded Visible Hands, a pre-seed VC firm, to back the overlooked, formidable founders transforming the future. Before that he spent years building ecosystems for emerging leaders in Boston. He’s put his money where his mouth is.

Cohort #17 graduates Monday night. This conversation is how it begins.

If you’re a builder, a real dreamer, or someone who refuses to wait for permission, you need to be there.

These founders’ journey is far from over, but if we don’t celebrate along the way, we forget why we started.

For the last 12 weeks, Cohort #17 has been heads down. Tucking kids in bed and opening laptops. Clocking out of one job and into another. Out of desire for something bigger for themselves, for the people they’re building for, for the world.

They didn’t just see the gap. They found the solution, recognized they couldn’t do it alone, and committed themselves fully to their mission.

We get to bear witness to how far that commitment has brought them. To pure heart. Passion. Dedication. Discipline.

On April 27th, they get to lift their heads, and we get to celebrate. We give them their moment as a community.

We celebrate the courage it took to start, the vulnerability and perseverance it takes to fail, ask for help, and get up again, and the grit it takes to keep moving when you don’t know what the next minute will look like day in and day out.

That’s Cohort #17. And we are so proud.

They worked hard. Now it’s time to play hard. That’s the ATV way.

For the last 12 weeks, these founders have been heads down in lesson labs, pitch practices, and mentor meetings, doing the unglamorous work that turns an idea into something real.

The founder’s journey is hard. But every once in a while, you get to stop and celebrate how far you’ve come.

April 27th is that moment.

ITV Cohort #17 Demo Day is almost here. The evening opens with a fireside chat between ATV co-founder David Lightburn and Justin Kang, General Partner at Visible Hands, followed by live startup pitches from all eight founders.

Then we’re taking it to the rooftop! Food, drinks, awards, and live music from .

These founders put in the work. Come be in the room when they show Atlanta what they built.

Free to attend. Click the link in our bio to sign up.

The USDOT didn’t award Numobility twice by accident.

Ximon Zhu is building AI purpose-built for transportation planning, engineering, and operations: the people who design our roads, manage traffic systems, and make the infrastructure decisions that millions of people depend on every day.

These teams see the potential of AI, but adoption has stalled because the tools weren’t built for them.

Numobility changes that.

Purpose-built AI designed to work alongside transportation teams as a force multiplier: accelerating the planning cycles, engineering decisions, and operational workflows that determine how fast cities move, grow, and get built.

Not AI for AI’s sake. AI that transportation teams can actually trust and use.

Ximon is part of our current ITV cohort.

Come see what trustworthy transportation AI actually looks like when Ximon takes the stage at Demo Day April 27th at 6:00 pm.

As always, If you see Ximon around the Village, say hello!

“My grandmother died and nobody knew what she had. The government held her assets for 14 years before we even found out they existed. I wrote my own plan on a piece of paper for my sons. That piece of paper became Next of Kin Plan.”

Kay Richardson has spent nearly two decades in healthcare watching families navigate impossible moments.

She kept seeing the same thing, the documents existed, but the plan didn’t.

Important information lived in one person’s head, and when that person was gone, everything fell apart.

So she built the solution.

is a family readiness platform that makes sure your loved ones know what to do and where to start in the first 72 hours of a crisis.

Accounts, policies, wishes, passwords: organized, shared, and ready before life gets complicated.

Kay is part of our current ITV cohort. April 27th, she takes the stage and pitches live. Come hear her tell you about what she’s built herself.

“You can’t secure what you can’t see.”

Duvall Smith has spent years inside the infrastructure that keeps networks running, and he kept running into the same problem.

When something breaks or a breach happens, teams are stuck digging through logs for days trying to find out why.

So he built the answer.

OyuAI is an AI agent that lets network and security engineers investigate, visualize, and act on their network in plain English.

Ask it what’s broken. Ask it what would happen if you blocked that IP. Ask it to map your topology. It doesn’t just monitor, it thinks.

The problems Duvall is solving are ones that security teams deal with every single day, and the fact that he’s building this in Atlanta, in this community, is something we don’t take lightly.

Duvall is part of our current It Takes a Village cohort. April 27th, he’s pitching OyuAI live.

If you’re in network or cybersecurity, or you just want to see what groundbreaking work looks like up close, come to ITV’s Graduation.

Moving out is stressful enough. What happens to all your stuff shouldn’t add to it.

Dennis Ross has been thinking about that problem, and building the answer. makes move-out disposal simple for renters who need it handled the right way.

Dennis brings an MBA, a background in venture, and the kind of sharp operational thinking that makes you realize this problem has been waiting for someone like him.

We’re proud to have him in our It Takes a Village Pre-Accelerator, and on April 27th, he’ll be on stage pitching WasteMatch at ITV Graduation. You’re going to want to be in the room.

If you see Dennis around the Village, say hello! If you’re moving soon, you may want to give WasteMatch a try.

Join us on April 15th at 12 pm for a real conversation about what’s actually working in 2026, led by , Partner at Atlanta Ventures.

She’s scaled companies, led exits, and now backs early-stage founders every day. You don’t want to miss this one.
