FOUNDER FRIDAY | MAVERICK KRUCINA 📍

Meet Maverick Krucina, founder of Augusta Update, a locally owned media and community platform built around one simple idea: help people discover more of the place they call home.

A UGA graduate, entrepreneur, and lifelong member of the Augusta community, Maverick has watched Augusta change, struggle, grow, and find new momentum. At 25, he decided he didn’t just want to watch what happened next. He wanted to be part of it.

Through Augusta Update, Maverick is spotlighting the businesses, restaurants, events, organizations, people, and opportunities that make Augusta and the greater CSRA unique.

But his vision goes beyond telling people what to do this weekend. It’s about building relationships, telling the stories behind the places people pass every day, and connecting more people with the people working to make Augusta better.

Because Maverick believes Augusta has far more potential than people sometimes give it credit for.

He isn’t here just to report on Augusta. He wants to be part of its comeback.
And he’s not trying to be another influencer.

He’s an amplifier.
