Walked into the shop this morning and the vibe was just... busy.

🧼 Soap everywhere, the guys deep in a wash, but that round lightbox on the black wall really pulls the whole place together. It’s not trying to be fancy, it just makes the garage feel like a real brand while the real work happens in the back. It’s one thing to have your name on a business card, but seeing it massive and glowing in the middle of the shop is a whole different feeling. Even with all the heavy machinery and grease around, the Gripmax sign just holds its own. It feels solid, kind of like a landmark for the neighborhood. Finally got the new sign up for Milo’s Sanctuary and that skating dog is definitely the main character now. 🛹 It’s cool to see how a bit of neon can take a plain wooden wall and make the whole shop feel so much more welcoming. Honestly, seeing this one go from a simple logo to a glowing mascot was a fun one for us. 🐶✨

Just looking back at some of the pet shops we’ve worked on lately and I’m still a fan of how much character a bit of neon adds. 🐾
Honestly, a shop is just a shop until you give it a "face." Whether it’s a skating dog or a glowing cat on the glass, it’s those little things that make people actually stop and look. There is something really special about seeing a local landmark get a fresh spark of life. We worked with Jonathan Green to give Valley View Farms a look that stands out against that beautiful coastal backdrop without losing its rustic charm. It is amazing how much energy one sign can bring to an old wooden barn and seeing families point it out as they walk up is exactly why we do this. It is like the farm finally has a voice that says "we are open and fresh" before you even get out of the car. 🌽✨

A minimalist sign is actually the hardest to get right because there's nowhere to hide. 📐 For the Outdoor David Club we went with a crisp white and green combo to match that dusk energy.
David told us after the event: 'Honestly, I was worried neon might look too "flashy" but this just feels classy. It’s not shouting for attention but you definitely can’t miss it.'
Seeing it sit there under the palm trees makes all the tiny design tweaks worth it. 🎾✨.
