Recently, members of the MOI team participated in the Golf 4 Hope Tournament benefiting Nico’s Hope for Life Foundation and the Ripken Golf Classic supporting the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation.

These events are about more than a day on the course — they help fund programs, resources, and opportunities that strengthen communities and support children and families in meaningful ways.

Not every workplace needs to feel corporate.

For this confidential trade association headquarters in Washington, DC, the goal was to create a workplace experience that felt welcoming, flexible, and deeply connected to the people using it every day.

The space blends hospitality-inspired design, layered ancillary environments, biophilic elements, focus rooms, executive offices, and collaborative settings to support a wide range of work styles — all while maintaining a cohesive, elevated aesthetic.

The result is a workplace that encourages connection, supports productivity, and creates moments of comfort throughout the day.

As the world turns its attention to soccer with the start of the World Cup, we’re excited to share Richmond United — a new space built for teamwork, connection, and performance on and off the field.

Following the merger of two Richmond soccer organizations, this new club headquarters brings athletes, coaches, and staff together in one unified environment overlooking the fields where the action happens every day.

Designed by SMBW and furnished by MOI, the space features:
-Shared collaboration areas with direct field views
-Height-adjustable workstations throughout
-Integrated storage for uniforms and equipment
-Durable, easy-to-clean finishes built for an active environment
-Flexible spaces that support both focus and teamwork

This project is proof that great workplace design can support culture, movement, and community — all while creating a home-field advantage for the people using it every day.

MOI partnered with Miles & Stockbridge and Corgan to support enhancements to the firm’s Washington, DC office — delivering a refined workspace through proactive coordination and trusted partnerships.

With a fast-paced schedule and minimal delivery window, our Baltimore and DC teams worked together to streamline decisions, curate finish selections, and keep the project moving efficiently from start to finish.

The refreshed environment also incorporates iconic existing Herman Miller Eames pieces, balancing timeless design with strategic reuse.

What an incredible day at the Breakthrough T1D Games 💙

Our Baltimore and DC teams came together last week to compete, connect, and support an amazing cause alongside industry peers from across the region.

Huge thank you to Olivia Dodge and Caroline Pustay from our Accent team in Albany for traveling to DC to spend the day with us!

And a HUGE congratulations to Olivia, who was the TOP FUNDRAISER for the entire event, raising an incredible $11,226 for Breakthrough T1D.

Our Richmond team showed up in a BIG way.

Recently, our Richmond Connection Committee partnered with Little Hands Virginia to help package diapers for families in need — and together, the team packed an amazing 3,500 diapers.

We’re incredibly proud of this effort and the impact it will have for families throughout the Richmond community. Events like these are a reminder that small actions, when done together, can make a huge difference.

Great conversations, great connections, and a great reminder of how much the built environment continues to evolve.

Our team had an incredible time at the ICSC Maryland Party during ICSC Las Vegas connecting with clients, partners, and peers across the commercial real estate community.
