Every generation of firefighters has worked to make the job safer for the next.

Better equipment. Better training. Better prevention.

Now, we have another opportunity to move our profession forward.

The Firefighter Cancer Registry can help us better understand occupational cancer risks and support the research, education, and prevention efforts that will shape the future of firefighter safety.

This data is about protecting the next generation of firefighters.

Be part of that progress.

Every firefighter has a story. Every department has a responsibility to protect its people.

The Firefighter Cancer Registry is an opportunity to better understand how cancer is affecting the men and women of Louisiana's fire service.

The more firefighters who participate, the stronger the information we can gather to support future research, education, and prevention efforts.

Have you completed the registry?

If so, encourage another firefighter to do the same.

Firefighters face dangers every time they answer the call. But some of the greatest risks don't end when the fire is out.

Cancer is taking too many of our own.

To better understand the impact of cancer on Louisiana's fire service, we need better data. And that starts with participation in the Firefighter Cancer Registry.

Every firefighter's information matters. Every response helps us build a clearer picture of the risks facing our profession.

🚒 Take a few minutes. Complete the registry. Help us protect the future of Louisiana's fire service.
