Last week on Dental Drill Bits, we talked about something that got a LOT of people thinking:

“You Don’t Have a Staffing Problem… You Have a Leadership Problem.”

And honestly… one of our favorite parts of the conversation was about staff meetings.

We know… just hearing the word “meeting” makes some people want to run. 😂

But Sandy made such a great point in the episode:
Good leaders actually want to bring their teams together. Not to waste time, but to train, communicate, improve culture, and help everyone get better together.

Dana also shared a reminder that applies to every office:
If you call the meeting, you own the meeting.

Have an agenda.
Keep it on track.
Respect people’s time.
End with action steps.

That’s how teams stay engaged instead of frustrated.

And honestly, sometimes the best ideas happen when the team steps away from the chaos for a few minutes and works through things together intentionally.

Most managers aren’t failing…

They were just never taught how to lead.

In dental practices everywhere, strong team members get promoted into management roles with zero structure, no clear protocols, and no roadmap for what to do when things go wrong.

So what happens?

👉 Inconsistent decisions
👉 Avoided conversations
👉 Team confusion
👉 People going around leadership
👉 And trust starts to break down

It’s not a people problem.
It’s a structure problem.

In our newest episode of Dental Drill Bits, we’re breaking down how to give managers the clarity and confidence they need to actually lead.

AI will process requests.

But here’s the question every dental practice needs to ask…
👉 Is that enough to get patients to say yes?

In our latest episode of Dental Drill Bits, we’re breaking down the real role of AI at the front desk—where it can support your practice… and where it can quietly cost you patients.

Because the truth is, your phone isn’t just getting answered.
It’s where trust is built.
It’s where your marketing either works… or doesn’t.

If you’ve been considering an AI receptionist—or already using one—this is a conversation you need to hear.

In this episode of Dental Drill Bits, we break down the Reactivation Project—a proven system that brings overdue patients back into your schedule without increasing marketing spend.

If your recall relies on email and text alone, you’re missing opportunities.

✔️ Find the patients you’ve lost
✔️ Fix your recall system
✔️ Fill your schedule with patients who already know you

It’s already hard to find great team members…But here’s what’s driving them away.

When some follow the rules and others don’t—and nothing happens—your best employees don’t work harder.

They disengage.
Or they leave.

Fairness isn’t optional. It’s what your team is watching.

Reaching an additional $150,000 per month in production is a goal many dental practices strive for. But the path to consistent growth usually isn’t more marketing or buying the latest technology.

More often, it comes from strengthening the systems already inside the practice.

In this episode, Sandy Pardue and Dana Pardue break down four of the biggest drivers that impact production immediately:

• Same-day dentistry
• Converting new patient phone calls into appointments
• Using visual tools to help patients understand treatment
• Training your team consistently on communication and systems

Most practices already have the opportunities. The difference is whether the team has the systems and training to capture them.
