WATERS Я US! Fire sprinkler systems saves lives and property, and part of that capability relies on our ability to shut the water off once the fire has been extinguished or it's under control. This week trained on stopping water flow from sprinkler heads which is largely done through breathing control and feel.

AUGUST 2026! Last month, in addition to deploying firefighters to the Mlily industrial fire, the responded to 280 emergency calls; including; (163) medical emergencies with [4] overdoses and [5] cardiac arrests, (19) vehicle collisions with [3] vehicles rolling over and trapped occupants being rescued in [4] collisions, and (4) outdoor fires. We also conducted (18) building inspections and (8) public training events creating (260) Immediate Responders for Beaufort County Government SC as well as trained with helicopter crews for medical evacuations, rapid search and rescue, and ladders.

This weekend paramedics, along with Beaufort Water Search and Rescue, provided safety standby for Beaufort County Sheriff's Office rescue divers during operations on the Broad River. Fortunately their lifesaving skills and equipment were not needed.
