Today, members of the Bellingham Executives Association had the privilege of volunteering with Growing Veterans, an extraordinary Whatcom County nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans through sustainable agriculture, peer connection, and purpose-driven work.

From hands-on farm activities to meaningful conversations, our time on-site reinforced the power of community in action. Growing Veterans is not only cultivating fresh food for local food banks, but also creating a pathway for veterans to reconnect, build skills, and find belonging through programs like Dirt Therapy and peer support initiatives.

We are honored to support an organization that is making a tangible impact in the lives of those who have served our country. Experiences like today remind us that leadership extends beyond business. It is about showing up, giving back, and strengthening the communities we call home.

David is a certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist who brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to long-term wellness. With multiple credentials from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, he specializes in strength, mobility, and functional movement coaching that meets clients where they are — with integrity, insight, and a deep respect for individual needs.
