Cass County Democrats are working hard to bring responsive, efficient government to Cass County.

Democrats believe that we're greater together than we are on our own—that this country succeeds when everyone gets a fair shot, when everyone does their fair share, when everyone plays by the same rules. For more than 200 years, our party has led the fight for civil rights, health care, Social Security, workers' rights, and women's rights. Here in Cass County we are standing strong together to make this a place where we have jobs that pay a living wage and public schools that are well-funded. We'll fight to make sure that senior citizens are not denied the benefits that they worked so hard for all their lives. We will work to build communities where businesses and families thrive. Opportunity, Responsibility, Community, Trust and Service are the core values of the Cass County Democrats and we welcome you to our page. The issues and opinions discussed on this page do not necessarily reflect the views of the Cass County Central Committee or the Missouri Democratic Party.

Don't stop on the first side of your ballot - turn it over!

Jon Pennell for HD55!

SO MUCH FOR LOCAL CONTROL!

Sherri Gallick and Bill Irwin voted YES on SB 3, the property tax law that counties, school districts, and fire districts took to court! Even Republican Michael Davis voted NO. We all know how that worked out for him with Cass County Republicans!

Now a judge has upheld the law, leaving our local communities to deal with the consequences.

Both Belton and Ray-Pec school superintendents warned this could cost their districts MILLIONS in funding!

Look, nobody likes paying property taxes! But our schools, fire departments, libraries, roads, and other local services don't run on hopes and prayers!

You can't keep cutting the money our communities depend on and pretend there won't be a price to pay.

And who pays that price? OUR FIRST RESPONDERS, OUR KIDS, OUR TEACHERS, AND ALL OF US!

VOTE Staci Czar for MO 56 Jon Pennell for MO 55 & Liz Davenport for MO 62

A PUBLIC OFFICE IS A PUBLIC TRUST

Art Ruiz has spent his career in real estate and public service, including serving as Belton's Director of Economic Development. He understands the importance of accurate property records, transparency, and accountability.

Republicans have controlled Cass County government for more than a decade. And when one party holds nearly all the power for that long, who's holding them accountable?

Our Recorder of Deeds earns nearly $100,000 a year in salary and benefits. That's taxpayer money, and we have every right to expect someone who shows up every day, does the job, protects our records, and answers to the people paying that salary.

You don't have to be a Democrat to vote for one. This election, we're asking Republicans, Independents, and Democrats to come together and put our county ahead of party politics.

VOTE ART RUIZ FOR RECORDER OF DEEDS!
