It's that time of year when birds are nesting. This is the time of year where it is federally prohibited for us to remove any nests that have eggs or yearlings in them due to The Migratory Bird Protection Act.
The Migratory Bird Protection Act provides that it is unlawful to pursue, hunt, take, capture, kill, possess, sell, purchase, barter, import, export, or transport any migratory bird, or any part, nest, or egg or any such bird. The MBTA protects over 800 species of birds that occur in the U.S.
