You're Just One Conversation Away...

Away from a new opportunity.
Away from a collaboration.
Away from a referral.
Away from a mentor.
Away from a lifelong friendship.

The truth is, most of us walk into networking events hoping to meet "the right people."

But the real magic doesn't happen because of a stack of business cards.

It happens because someone takes the time to ask a genuine question.

To really listen.

To make another person feel seen.

That's what Beyond the Business Card is all about.

We're not teaching you how to work a room or memorize the perfect elevator pitch.

We're creating an experience where you'll learn how to start conversations naturally, build authentic relationships, and leave every event feeling more confident than when you walked in.

Because you never know...
✨ Your next conversation might be the one that changes everything.

Introvert does not mean invisible.

Some of the most commanding presences I've ever witnessed belong to introverts. Watch the reel.

Jodi Wacker-Krymuza were sitting together yesterday, working on another The Power In Your Presence project, when an email came through.
We opened it.
Read it.
Looked at each other.
Read it AGAIN.
And then there may have been some jumping. 😂
The Power In Your Presence has been selected to present at a big conference in the spring!
But not just present.
We’re opening the conference!
And there’s something about that we’re still taking in.
We talk a lot about what happens when you stop shrinking, raise your hand, and put yourself in rooms before you know exactly what will happen.
This is one of those moments.
More to come. But today?
We’re celebrating. 💗

Let's clear something up.

Introvert does not mean invisible.

I have been in rooms with introverts who command more presence than anyone else at the table. Not because they spoke the most, but because when they did speak, the room went quiet to listen.

That is presence.

Executive presence is not about being the most outgoing person in the room. It's not about filling silence or leading every conversation or walking in with a big personality.

It's about alignment. It's about grounding. It's about the quiet ease that comes when who you are on the inside matches how you show up on the outside.

And here's what I've noticed: introverts are often extraordinarily good at the things that actually build presence. They listen with intention. They think before they speak. They choose words carefully. They don't feel the need to prove themselves constantly.

Those are not weaknesses. Those are assets.

The work for an introvert isn't to become more extroverted. It's to stop letting the extrovert-coded definition of "presence" convince them they don't have one.

You don't need to take up more space with your voice.

You need to take up the right amount of space in the room.

If you're an introvert who has ever felt like presence wasn't for you. I'd love to hear how you've navigated that.

Presence isn't a perk that comes with a VP title. It's a practice you build at every level.

Watch the reel. This one's for anyone who's ever thought "I'll work on that when I get there."

✨ What a morning. What a beginning. ✨

Today, six incredible women made one powerful decision...

They said YES to themselves.

They reflected.
They laughed.
They stretched outside their comfort zones.
They encouraged one another.
They celebrated each other.
They practiced showing up with greater confidence and intention.

One moment there were tears...

The next moment there was laughter echoing through the room.

There were goosebump moments, powerful conversations, and so many reminders that there really are no coincidences. Every woman who was in that room was exactly where she was meant to be.

This is why we created The Power In Your Presence.

Not just to teach...
But to create experiences where people feel seen, supported, challenged, and inspired to stop shrinking and start showing up.

To these amazing women...thank you for trusting us. Thank you for your openness, your courage, and your willingness to lean in. We are so proud of each of you and can’t wait to watch where this journey takes you.

And the best part?

This was only the first Signature Experience. 🔥

Our first was just for the ladies, but there are many more experiences to come—including opportunities that will be open to everyone!

Here’s to stepping into YOUR Power... YOUR Purpose... and YOUR Presence. ❤️

You can’t build visibility from the sidelines.

At some point, you have to walk into the room.

Introduce yourself.
Start the conversation.
Ask the question.
Share the idea.

Let people know what you care about and what you’re building.
That is part of presence, too.

Some of the biggest opportunities in my own career over the last two years started with something incredibly simple:

I showed up.

That’s why I’m such a believer in rooms like Meant for More.

You may walk in thinking you’re going to hear a great speaker or learn something for your business.

You may walk out having met someone who changes its direction.

Never underestimate who you might meet when you say yes to a room.

I certainly didn’t.

Through Omaha Women’s Network, I met Leia Baez, who became my speaker coach, helped me find my footing in this new chapter, and became a dear friend.

I also met Jodi Krymuza.

Today, Jodi and I are building something new together with The Power in Your Presence.

A coach.
A friend.
A business partner.
A completely new direction in my career.

All because I kept showing up.

We talk a lot about “networking,” but I think that word makes it sound far more transactional than it should be.

The right rooms aren’t about collecting contacts.
They’re about building relationships.

And you never know where one of those relationships might lead.

That’s one of the many reasons I’ll be at Meant for More on September 11.

Come get in the room with us. ✨

Two years ago, I walked into Meant for More knowing only a few people in the room.

I had no idea how much that one decision would change.

I eventually joined Omaha Women’s Network’s Inner Circle. At the time, it felt like a pretty significant investment in myself and my business.

Turns out, it was one of the best I’ve ever made.

Through this community, I grew my styling business. I found the confidence and clarity to step into speaking. I met Leia Baez, who became my speaker coach and a dear friend. And I met Jodi Krymuza, who is now my partner in an entirely new business venture.

None of that was on my radar when I first walked through those doors.
I simply got in the room.

That’s why being part of Meant for More on September 11, this time as a panelist, feels especially meaningful.

You never really know what one conversation, one introduction, or one YES might set in motion.
But you have to be in the room for it to happen.

Omaha women, come join us. 💛
