We've been a little quiet on here lately, but we've definitely been keeping busy!

Recently, we set a new personal record:

⏱️ All in ONE day!

Even better? They were installed for a client who wanted to safely and confidently access every bathroom in their home.

Did you know your smoke detector has an expiration date?

Many homeowners replace the batteries every year (which is great!), but don't realize the entire smoke detector should typically be replaced every 10 years.

This weekend, take a minute to check yours:

Install water leak detectors anywhere a hidden leak could cause major damage.

Think about placing them:
✔ Under sinks
✔ Behind toilets
✔ Near water heaters
✔ Behind washing machines
✔ Under refrigerators with ice makers
✔ Near dishwashers

These small, inexpensive devices can alert you at the first sign of water, helping you catch a leak before it ruins cabinets, flooring, drywall, or ceilings.

Every drill, level, and impact driver helps create a safer home for someone who wants to remain independent.

If you found a few hazards, great job! If you missed some, don't worry... that's exactly why home safety assessments are so valuable. We all become "blind" to our own surroundings over time.

Here are the hazards hiding in plain sight:

⚠️ Curled-up area rug
⚠️ Extension cord across the floor
⚠️ Walker blocking a walking path
⚠️ Step between the living room and kitchen
⚠️ Barstool narrowing the pathway
⚠️ Stairs without a visible handrail
⚠️ Dim hallway lighting
⚠️ Furniture with sharp corners in a traffic area
