✨✨Pantry Organization✨✨

We always try to use the containers you currently have, we never want to buy unnecessary products just because. Most spaces already have LOTS of organizational products and just pulling everything out and going through it lets you “shop” the products you already have.

A beginning of the school year reset for a pantry definitely sets you up for a successful school year!

Sometimes the hidden spaces are what need some organization the most.

Here are a few good reasons to throw away old household cleaners instead of keeping them around:

1. Effectiveness fades – Many cleaners lose their potency over time. Ingredients like bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or disinfectants break down, making the product less effective (sometimes basically just water).
2. Chemical changes – Some cleaners can separate or change composition as they age, which may make them less safe to use or cause streaking, residue, or damage to surfaces.
3. Safety risks – Old containers can leak, crack, or corrode. If chemicals evaporate, they may give off harmful fumes. Expired or unstable mixtures (like old bleach or ammonia-based cleaners) can also become hazardous.

I know a lot of us hang onto things because we want them to go somewhere meaningful instead of just sitting in a random bin. I’ve asked before but please share any local organizations, shelters, or groups nearby that accept donations of clothes, furniture, or household items? Bonus points if they directly support families, kids, or causes in our community.

Sometimes it’s easier to let go of things when we know they’re going to a good place ❤️. Drop your favorite donation spots below—I’d love to make a list to share with everyone!
