We’ve been deep in the building phase of building but it’s like the universe knew and said, “Sit. Rest. Love on your family.”

Plans got cancelled. Things got missed. And somehow…that was the magic.

All our little guy wanted was us…no to-do lists, no timelines, just love, laughs, and snow-day fun.

A day with my boys is exactly what my heart & theirs needed. 💙

Happy Thanksgiving from our little family! We are so thankful for our friends, family, clients and all those we’ve met along the way!

There’s no one I’d rather do life with than these two. They are the reason I keep pushing, keep growing and want to do better.

This time of year also brings up some deep grief for me. Three years ago my dad was battling cancer, pretending to be strong, pretending it would be okay…but deep down I knew he wasn’t.

My intuition has always been strong, and knowing the man I call daddy wasn’t doing well was heartbreaking. We put on smiles and pushed through Thanksgiving, but it was the last holiday he would ever spend in my home. It’s gutted me, changed me, it’s been really hard but it’s also taught me to appreciate life!

The grief is a lesson I don’t wish on anyone, but it’s also the driving force behind using my magic to help others.

Late to posting again because we’ve been living in the moments here. And honestly? That’s exactly how it should be.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​!!!!’

Let me be clear: I’m not saying you’re lazy. I’m saying your business model is broken.

You’re working 80-hour weeks not because you’re not good enough, but because you never built the infrastructure to work WITHOUT you.

Every task that “only you can do”? That’s a systems gap.
Every time you can’t take a day off? That’s a documentation problem.

Every client who only wants YOU? That’s a process issue.
The good news? This is fixable.

But first, you have to stop calling it “burnout” and start calling it what it is: bad operations.

I’ve fired people - here’s 3 examples and here’s why I’d still rather hire wrong than not hire at all.

Hire #1: Didn’t follow training guide. I thought they’d “figure it out.” They didn’t. Had to let them go.

Hire #2: Great at the work, terrible with clients. Missed that in the interview. My mistake.

Hire #3: Just wasn’t a fit. No drama, just wrong person for the role.

Did it suck? Absolutely
Did I lose money? Sure did
Did I waste time? Some would say that

But here’s what I gained:
I learned how to interview better.
I learned how to document processes so they’re actually followable.
I learned what I ACTUALLY needed vs. what I thought I needed (or wanted).

I learned that firing someone isn’t the end of the world. Sure it’s hard and you feel bad and that’s part of being human!

But most importantly? I learned that hiring wrong is still better than doing everything myself.

Because even my worst hire took SOMETHING off my plate. Even temporarily. And that taught me what delegation could feel like.

You’re going to hire wrong. Maybe multiple times. That’s not failure—that’s tuition.

The only real failure is never trying because you’re scared of making a mistake.

You spent more time today scrolling for solutions than actually implementing one.

You know what needs to be fixed in your business. You’ve known for months or maybe years….

But it’s so much easier to:
• Research one more tool/trick
• Watch one more masterclass
• Read one more book
• Tell yourself “I’ll start Monday” or even next year

Than it is to admit you can’t do this alone.

You’re not lazy.
You’re not unmotivated.
You’re stuck.

And scrolling isn’t helping.

So here’s your reality check: Another Tuesday is coming. And another. And you’ll still be tired, still be overwhelmed, and still be telling yourself “soon.”

Or you could just finally ask for help.
