We just launched a spoooky store just in time for Halloween 🎃 🪦
Please support Roberts Park FPD Firefighters' all proceeds will be donated to Project Fire Buddies.
👻 NEW ROBERTS PARK FIRE SUPPORTER APPAREL IS HERE! 🚒
The Roberts Park Firefighters Association is excited to launch our newest supporter apparel — featuring a little bit of local history, local legend, and a great cause.
If you’re from the area, chances are you’ve heard the story of Resurrection Mary.
For generations, the legend has told of a mysterious young woman in white who appears along Archer Avenue, sometimes accepting rides from passing motorists before suddenly disappearing near the gates of Resurrection Cemetery. The story has become one of Chicagoland’s best-known ghost legends — and it happens to take place right in our backyard.
Roberts Park Station 2, home of Engine 302, sits directly across Archer Avenue from Resurrection Cemetery.
So when it came time to create a new Roberts Park supporter design, we decided to have a little fun with our famous neighbor across the street.
It looks like this time, Engine 302 stopped to give Mary a ride. 👻🚒
Even better, this design supports a cause that means a lot to us. Proceeds from every purchase will benefit Project Fire Buddies and the incredible work they do supporting children battling serious illnesses and their families.
The new Roberts Park Fire Supporter design is available on:
