ATHENA Young Professional Honoree Spotlight: Caitlin Langmead
For Caitlin Langmead, leadership is about building stronger organizations, supporting her community and helping other women recognize their potential.
As a Principal at , Caitlin has spent more than a decade in public accounting, taking on new challenges and creating systems that strengthen her firm’s assurance practice. She also leads training initiatives that help colleagues grow their skills, expand their knowledge and deliver high-quality work.
Just as important is her commitment to mentoring and advancing other women. For more than a decade, Caitlin has supported women at different stages of their careers, helping them build confidence, embrace new opportunities and step into leadership roles. She also contributes to her firm’s Diversity Committee, promoting inclusion and professional growth.
A lifelong Canandaigua resident, Caitlin puts her expertise to work for the community she calls home. She serves as treasurer of the Canandaigua Montessori School and the Finger Lakes Community College Foundation, supporting educational opportunities for students and families. She also serves on the NYCPA Rochester Chapter’s Nonprofit Committee and volunteers her bookkeeping expertise for , supporting animal welfare throughout Ontario County.
