🚨 TRAINING BEYOND THE MINIMUM STANDARD 🚨

Some people might disagree with what I’m about to say and that’s ok but I feel it’s important to talk about. One thing I’ve noticed throughout the security industry is that many important topics are rarely discussed in traditional training programs. Whether it’s the 47-Hour Armed pre-assignment , or our 8-Hour Armed annual, in-service training, there is often very little focus on human anatomy, injury recognition, trauma awareness, or how the body functions during a critical incident.

Yet security professionals are increasingly being placed in situations that require them to respond to medical emergencies, violent encounters, and active threat situations before EMS or law enforcement arrive.

Understanding the human body isn’t just about tactics. It’s about being a more knowledgeable, prepared, and effective professional.

This week’s training focus is the Pelvic Girdle Anatomy & Structural Function.

Why is it important?

✅ Recognizing potential traumatic injuries
✅ Improving communication with EMS and first responders

These past few weekends, Active Armed Protection had the honor of providing security services for the Rochester Art Festival “Art in the Park.”

Active Armed Protection is now hiring Armed and Unarmed Security Guards for an upcoming event contract in Rochester NY running May 1st – May 18th. Multiple shifts are available.

Qualified applicants must have a valid NYS Security Guard License. Armed positions require current NYS Armed Guard certification.
