Thanks to Camila and Dominic from Mission Heights Prep HS for helping with a heavy recycling load today! We always welcome new volunteers on Saturday mornings.... currently starting shortly after 6 a.m. 👍🙂

The first day of school is tomorrow, so we stopped the summer recycling numbers. We recycled:
#1 plastic = 3,735 lbs.
Aluminum = 1,675 lbs.
Metal = 1,532 lbs.
Total = $2,273.50.
We’re up 1,165 lbs. over last year at this time, and we’re up $573.00. (We made $17,948 last year.)
Now it’s on to a busy school year… ♻️

22,402 lbs. #1 plastic
14,266 lbs. aluminum
4,478 lbs. Metal/tin cans
Total = $17,813.95
This year we donated $18,000 to our community.
