A little behind the scenes of how this Back to School Night backdrop came to life ✏️📚

I had the vision, and Blake got voluntold to help bring it to life especially since I’ve been non weight bearing after foot surgery. He was sawing boards, hauling supplies, helping paint, and making sure my “one quick project” became a reality. 😂

From raw wood in our garage to a full photo op moment for the school… this is the part of Banner and Brush by Morgan I love most. Creating something memorable from scratch with the people who always show up for me.

Thank you to everyone who trusts me with their special moments and to my husband, who may not always love the projects, but loves and supports me big. 🤍

Meet Banner and Brush by Morgan’s newest team member… jk, it’s just my husband the man who never says no, hates the projects, and somehow still supports me big. 😂

From being voluntold to saw boards at 9pm to painting them alongside me, hauling arches, and holding things “just for a second” for 45 minutes… he may not love the projects, but he sure loves me through every single one.

I loved bringing this first birthday banner to life with warm peach tones, a hand painted ribbon, dainty florals, and all the details fit for the sweetest little celebration. There is just something extra special about creating pieces for these big first year milestones the ones full of tiny hands, happy tears, cake covered faces, and everyone who has loved them from day one.

Today, our baby started kindergarten. 🥹💗

She woke up to her little first day surprise so excited, ate heart shaped waffles, picked up her brand new lunchbox and backpack, and then waved goodbye with the biggest confidence as she walked into school.

Meanwhile, I was holding back all the mom tears. She is so ready for this next big adventure and I am so proud of the sweet, brave girl she is becoming. Kindergarten, be good to my girl. 🌈✨

So many memories from my own senior year came flooding back while making this one. 🤍

Getting to create it for such a special senior this year makes it even sweeter. I love watching these seniors get excited as they check off every little moment—the last first day, homecoming, prom, senior sunset and step into all the adventures waiting for them after graduation.

Senior year is such a fun, bittersweet season… and this checklist makes sure none of the memories get missed. 🎓✨

Blink I’m 2 💖⚡️ Pink, teal, balloons, and a little Blink-182 nostalgia for the sweetest second birthday setup!

This was one of the bookings I had already committed to before my injury, and before surgery my husband and I talked about how he could step in to help me when needed so I could still honor the celebrations I promised to be part of. Two days post op, he was right there helping me make this one happen.

Who you marry truly matters. So thankful for a husband who supports this little dream of mine, jumps in when I need him, and helps make sure these special moments still get to be celebrated. 🫶🏼

I love painting every little detail, but getting these photos back and seeing it paired with the sweetest cake, high chair, and all the birthday magic? That is what makes this so fun and so worth it.

The kind of chic with a sore back, paint-stained hands, a car full of balloons, ladders, and supplies and a heart so full of gratitude.

The kind of chic who gets to support a momma trying to stay home with her babies, add a little magic to your community’s special memories, and leave artwork behind on windows, walls, and celebrations.

And honestly? I’ll never get tired of hearing, “Wait… did you paint that?” 🥹🎨

Five babies. Five last first days. One very emotional momma. 🥹🎓

I can only imagine the mix of pride, excitement, and “how did we get here so fast?” that comes with sending five seniors into their final first day of high school. What an incredibly special chapter for this family and such an honor to create a banner for it.

Class of 2027, you have so much ahead of you. 💜
