Cave City Fire Department Responds to Residential Structure Fire
Cave City, KY (June 11, 2026) β At approximately 11:14 A.M. CST on Thursday, June 11, the Cave City Fire Department responded to a reported residential structure fire in the 700 block of Old Mammoth Cave Road.
Upon arrival, firefighters initiated an aggressive fire attack and worked to contain the blaze and protect surrounding property. Mutual aid assistance was provided by the Park City Fire Department, Horse Cave Fire Department, Glasgow Fire Department, and Hiseville Fire Department, whose personnel played a vital role in the coordinated response.
At the time of the fire, no one was inside the residence, and no injuries were reported to civilians or emergency responders.
The Cave City Fire Department extends its sincere appreciation to all responding agencies for their professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to serving our community. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
