Oil sampling isn’t just a maintenance task - it’s a key part of protecting your equipment and keeping your operation running smoothly.

Here’s why it matters:
1) It helps protect manufacturer warranties.
Most manufacturers require routine oil sampling to maintain warranty coverage.
Typically, samples are needed every 2,000 run hours or every 6 months (whichever comes first).

2) It tells you when it’s actually time to change the oil.
While compressor oils have a standard lifespan (often around 8,000 run hours or 2 years), real-world conditions can shorten that significantly. High discharge temperatures, dust, dirt, and demanding environments all accelerate oil degradation. Routine oil analysis helps you: track oil condition over time, identify when oil is breaking down early, and replace oil before it impacts lubrication and damages airend bearings
