Welcome to Chambersburg, Lackawanna College!

Regional leaders, community members and college administration gathered to celebrate the grand opening and official ribbon-cutting of the new Lackawanna College facility in Chambersburg.

Attendees received a behind-the-scenes look at the classrooms and the impressive 30-bay welding shop, exploring the incredible hands-on learning spaces now available right in our backyard. The event also highlighted the valuable training opportunities and career pathways this center brings to our local workforce, especially through its specialized Welding and Fabrication Technology program.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone, including PA State Rep. Chad Reichard and Mike Ross, President of the Franklin County Area Development Corporation. We are thrilled to welcome Lackawanna College to the community and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on workforce development in Franklin County.
