Congratulations to Kelly Vickers on being named Executive Director of the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority!

We’re proud to work alongside NRGRDA and look forward to continuing to support its work to advance economic development and opportunity across the region.

The New River Gorge Regional Development Authority (NRGRDA) Board of Directors has selected Kelly Vickers as its new Executive Director. Vickers was chosen following a rigorous, highly competitive search process and will lead the organization in advancing economic development across Fayette, Nicholas, Raleigh, and Summers counties.

Vickers currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Compliance Manager for the West Virginia Solid Waste Management Board, providing executive financial and operational leadership while working with public authorities, boards, county commissions, state agencies, elected officials, and community stakeholders. A Lincoln County native, she brings nearly two decades of public-sector executive experience in West Virginia, along with expertise in strategic leadership, financial and organizational management, grants, compliance, board governance, and public administration. She holds degrees from West Virginia University and Marshall University and is currently pursuing a second master's degree in Business Administration.

NRGRDA looks forward to welcoming Vickers and working with her to strengthen programs, partnerships, and economic development opportunities throughout the New River Gorge region.

Proud to support the West Virginia Association of Health Plans and bring its members together for another productive quarterly meeting!

At 3PS, association management is about more than keeping things moving behind the scenes — it’s helping our clients create opportunities for collaboration, stay engaged on the issues that matter and prepare for what’s ahead.

Always a great day when we get to spend time with our WVAHP partners!

Our West Virginia Association of Health Plans members gathered today for our quarterly meeting, hosted by Wellpoint, bringing together representatives from Wellpoint WV, The Health Plan, Highmark Health Options West Virginia and Aetna Better Health of West Virginia.

We appreciated Bureau of Medical Services Commissioner Christy Donohue joining us to kick off the meeting, followed by a productive discussion among members about shared priorities and preparations for the upcoming legislative session.

Thank you to Wellpoint for hosting and to The Health Plan for providing lunch! We value the continued collaboration and engagement of our members as we work together on issues impacting health care across West Virginia.

Shout out to our Director of Communications and Advocacy Whitney Wetzel for receiving the honor of Generation Next 40 under 40. We enjoyed a ceremony in Clarksburg, WV with other recipients.

Whitney is vital to our success and the success of our clients. Her professional touch and organization allows us to manage complex issues for our clients. She gives us the ability to communicate effectively.
