We had one question: Who has the strongest grip?

We decided to have a little fun and put that question to the test at AAOMS 2026 in Seattle!

From oral surgeons and residents to our own OSP team (and even Sasquatch), we had plenty of willing participants step up to the challenge.

As Dr. Mohammad Mousavian reminded us, “It’s not just about strength, it’s about technique.”

But in the end, Dr. Helaman Erickson of Permian Basin Oral Surgery came out on top with the strongest grip of the competition! 🏆

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and joined in on the friendly competition. We’re already looking forward to putting more grips (and forearms) to the test at AAOMS next year!
