Facilitating Parts’ Conversation
Sunday April 12 • 2:30-4:30 pm CT
Join this very intimate, 5-person experiential IFS workshop to explore ways to facilitate meaningful conversation with your parts!
In this experiential class, you will learn how to facilitate meaningful conversations between your parts.
Rather than only relating to parts from Self, we’ll practice helping parts get their points across to other parts in ways that increase understanding, reduce polarization, and create more internal cooperation.
Sometimes this means mediating between polarized managers and firefighters.Sometimes it means helping more extreme managers listen to less extreme ones.Sometimes it means supporting protectors to set aside their fears and truly LISTEN to the exiles.
Wherever there is internal tension, there is usually an unfinished conversation.
This class will teach practical methods for slowing down inner conflict, clarifying each part’s concerns, and supporting parts in negotiating new ways of working together.
You will leave with concrete skills you can use in real time.
Whatever inner conversation is trying to happen, this class is designed to help you make space for it.
