Vehr is proud to support our client Joseph House, as a longtime sponsor of its Golf Outing presented by DAV. This year's event raised nearly $57,000 to support veterans working to overcome addiction and homelessness, making it a record-breaking year.

Position Description:
Vehr Communications is seeking a contract social media specialist/digital content creator effective immediately. The contractor should anticipate approximately 5 hours per week to start, with hours expanding up to 15 hours per week August-October. Some weekend hours are required from August-October. There is potential for work to extend through December. Job location is based in the Cincinnati/Dayton metro area.

Expertise required includes:
• Ability to use social media (especially Instagram, Facebook and
TikTok) strategically to help clients engage with key audiences
and drive specific calls-to-action.
• Collaborate with client team.
• Adept at various content formats: photo posts, graphics and
videos for Reels and TikToks, etc.
– Identify and create trending content.
– Create and edit vertical video with trending sounds.
– Develop social media graphics using Canva.
– Develop compelling captions and text overlays.
• Ability to draft opportunistic content with quick turnaround.
• Monitor and manage social community comments and
questions.
• Ability to be on-site (occasionally) at planned client events to
shoot social video and photography.
• Requirement to track client time in 15-minute increments on a
daily basis and submit time sheets (preferably in Excel) on a
weekly basis.
