As we wrap up another amazing school year at Pathways Behavioral Health, our kids have been LOVING every minute of it!! 🦋

This spring, our classrooms got to watch caterpillars transform into butterflies, and today they finally released them! The students absolutely loved watching the entire transformation process… and honestly, the butterflies didn’t seem to want to leave us either! 💛

The 2025–2026 school year has been such a great one, and we’re already gearing up for our summer sessions beginning June 1st!

We hope everyone has an amazing summer filled with fun, memories, and sunshine ☀️ We’ll be over at Pathways learning, growing, and playing all summer long!

Cami brings such a calm, steady, and compassionate presence to our clinic. She is dedicated to her clients, supportive to her team, and consistently shows up ready to give her best. The relationships she builds with the kids are so genuine, and the care she has for them shines through in everything she does.

She works hard, stays patient through challenges, and helps create an environment where our clients feel safe, supported, and understood. We are so grateful to have her on our team.

Please join us in celebrating Haley, RBT and Assistant Class Instructor, as our Employee of the Month for March. Haley was voted Employee of the Month by her fellow Pathways staff members, which makes this recognition even more special.

Haley brings so much creativity into her work with our clients and has such a calm and supportive presence with the kids. She consistently goes above and beyond to help our clients succeed and is always willing to step in and support her coworkers whenever needed.

Her talent, dedication, and positive energy make a meaningful difference in our clinic every day. We are so grateful to have Haley as part of the Pathways team.

We had SO much fun at Pathways today with our dramatic play shopping experience! 🛒✨

A huge shoutout to one of our Lead Instructors, Maddy, and Assistant Instructor, Haley, for planning this awesome activity!

Our learners shopped for snacks, practiced using money, made purchases, and worked on getting their change back. Along the way, they were building communication, social skills, and independence without even realizing it!

Pathways Behavioral Health is proud to partner with Pickaway County Community Action - PICCA for our Veterans Food Drive! 🇺🇸

From Nov. 11 – Nov. 21, we’re collecting canned goods and non-perishable items for the Veterans Transitional Housing Program, which supports local veterans working toward independence and stability.

Our goal is 150 donated items, and if we reach it, our clients will celebrate with a movie day before Thanksgiving break! 🎬🍿

If you’d like to contribute, we’ll have a donation box at our back door (407 E Main St., Circleville) — open Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5 PM until Nov. 21, 2025.

Thank you for helping us teach our clients about kindness, giving, and respect — and for supporting our local veterans! 💛

✨ New Weekly Series! ✨

Each week, our team will be sharing short videos and posts that explain common ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) strategies and what they look like in action! You’ll learn about evidence-based methods—like Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and Functional Communication Training (FCT)—along with easy-to-understand examples from our sessions.

Our goal is to help families see how these tools support communication, learning, and confidence for the amazing kids we work with every day 💙

Today, our RBT is modeling Discrete Trial Training (DTT). DTT is a structured ABA teaching method designed to help clients learn new skills through clear instructions, prompting, and positive reinforcement. By breaking complex skills into smaller, achievable steps, DTT allows learners to experience success at every stage. This evidence-based approach is especially effective in teaching communication, social, and academic skills, creating meaningful progress that builds confidence over time.

You can see in the video, the RBT gives the instruction or SD, waits for the client’s response, & then delivers positive reinforcement, theraputty in this specific trial, for the correct response!
